Maryland Project Title: Highland Town

Project Description: Project scope includes firmware upgrade in several SEL-311L relays in addition to calibration and commissioning of all protective devices. Apparatus testing was limited to two 34.5/13.8kV transformers, two 34.5kV breakers, also a nine 13.8kV breaker system arranged in a breaker and one half scheme. The complete Highland Town project included twenty one SEL-311L relays located in five substations combined into seven three terminal connected relay schemes. Protection schemes involved Line Differential and Direct Transfer Trip. Commissioning included SCADA communication from the Highland Town relays through SEL-2030 communication processor and to the SCADA Master Station and end-to-end testing for three substations. Other SEL-2030 devices were installed in substations providing pass through communications to SEL relays not connected to the SCADA system.

Nebraska Project Title: Archer Daniels Midland Maintenance Contract and Upgrades

Project Description: This project includes the annual maintenance of 4.16Kv generator and switchgear power plant, including the testing of protective relay systems for a 12.5MW generating station during plant outages. Relaying tested is for medium and low voltage systems as well as transformer and generator protection. Power factor testing on transformers and oil circuit breakers are also performed.

Ohio Project Title: Toledo Edison Under Voltage Load Shedding Project

Project Description: Project included installation of relay panels in multiple substations including setting and wiring of panels. Relays were cut into existing circuits, tested, function tested for tripping action and communication with the SCADA system, commissioned, and placed into service.
